In the past 3 years, I’ve helped businesses and organizations create websites and applications. In the process, I’ve learned to become humble and be always ready to adjust and rethink my thought process according to new learning that come along the way, which I came to realize as inevitable as humans are so varied and different.
I believe a business/service can only be successful if it is taking both the user needs and business wants into account. It is through achieving that balance which helps a service to become meaningful and useful for the users and in turn sustainable for the service itself.
I believe as a designer, I have a unique role to help achieve that balance through purposeful communications and always be inquisitive, never stop asking and listening for it is through genuine curiosity that true knowledge can be learned.

I enjoy encountering people of different cultures and talking to them, sometimes even just to observe them doing things. Listening to people of different ages, professions and races sharing how they live and resolve problems has taught me that I could never take “common sense” for granted. I have learned that to be empathetic is to respect others.
I enjoy listening and respect what others have to say about things but I have also learned to voice out my opinion and to enjoy healthy confrontations as I believe “assumption” is always the poison to kill a collaborative environment. It doesn’t help to assume something will be done by someone sometime, let’s make sure it will happen.
I am always curious about changes and am constantly on the look out for things that catch my interests. I especially enjoy the process of creation and to make things happen, to bake a cake, to assemble a bookshelf, things that seem mundane but when you immerse yourself in it, they are full of tiny details and knowledge. Through continuous learning and a passion to create, I strive to not only make the results good but the process enjoyable and fun as well.
